Doug Ulman
Doug Ulman has served as a member of our Board of Directors since December 2016. In June 2023, he founded Orli, an investment and advisory community focused on impact-driven opportunities and supporting social entrepreneurs and innovators as they scale their reach.
From 2014 to 2024, Doug served as Chief Executive Officer of Pelotonia, a Columbus-based nonprofit that has raised nearly $350 million for cancer research since 2009. He remains Vice Chairman on Pelotonia’s board and senior adviser to the CEO. From 2008 to 2014, Doug was President and Chief Executive Officer of the LIVESTRONG Foundation.
A social entrepreneur and community builder, Doug is a Hauser Leader at Harvard University’s Kennedy School Center for Public Leadership. He is the founder and a board member of the Ulman Foundation and serves on the board of Athletes for Hope. Doug holds a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University and completed the Executive Program in Leadership at Stanford University. We believe Doug is qualified to serve on our Board of Directors due to his experience in executive leadership roles.
